Cairo, 9 December 1998

Today, Wednesday 9 December 1998, at noon, EOHR lawyer Mustafa Zidan will
appear before the State Security Prosecution to be questioned about the
information included in the EOHR report on the incidents of Al-Kosheh. He
will be accompanied by a number of lawyers.

On 2 December 1998, the Higher State Security Prosecution summoned Mustafa
Zidan for his role in gathering information for Al-Kosheh report. On 6
December, following the release of EOHR secretary general Hafez Abu Seada
on a LE 500 bail, the first attorney general of the Higher State
Prosecution urged that lawyer Mustafa Zidan be brought for questioning.
