Former FIFA VP pleads not guilty in federal court in New York


Jeffrey Webb, former vice president of FIFA, Saturday has pleaded not guilty to racketeering and bribery charges in a federal court hearing in Brooklyn, New York, local media reported.

Webb, who was arrested along with six others at a hotel in Zurich on May 27, was extradited to the United States from Switzerland.

Webb was reportedly released on 10 million U.S. dollars of bond following his arraignment in the court.
