Georgian military fired on funeral procession
Georgian armed formations fired at a funeral procession in the Mugut village in the Znaur region of the Republic of South Ossetia [RSO].
The Ministry of the Interior informed an IA Res correspondent that there was a funeral for RSO law enforcement serviceman Anatoly Kabisov, killed during the firing on an RSO Ministry of Internal Affairs [MIA] post in the Velit village on the night of 1 to 2 August.
"The cemetery is located in direct vision from the illegal post at the Dvani village from where on 1 August Kabisov was killed by sniper fire.
"From this post also the funeral procession was fired upon yesterday. Because of these barbaric actions the bereaved family was obliged to bury the deceased in the yard of their house in Mugut Mindzaev informed.
