Large quantity of weapons seized in Tetovo


Macedonian police seized a large quantity of infantry weapons and bombs stashed in a house in Tetovo, police said.

The police detained Agushi Emin (28), the owner of the house.

During a house search operation, the police seized two automatic rifles, a semi-automatic rifle, eight hand-bombs, 49 bullets, three guns, a thromblone charge, and two passports.

Emin was detained after a routine vehicle check in Tetovo, where four people were found in illegal possession of weapons - three guns. Emin is said to have given them the guns for sale.

The police filed criminal charges against all involved. A thorough investigation is ongoing.
