Ghani strongly condemns Kabul suicide blast
President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday strongly condemned a suicide attack that killed 26 people and wounded 18 others in capital Kabul.
The blast happened at around 12:00pm in the limits of third Police District near to Kart-i-Sakhi area.
In a statement, Ghani called the attack a cowardly act and against all Islamic teachings and human values.
He said killing innocent civilians was un-Islamic and inhuman act, adding these evil acts could not undermine the determination of Afghan people to move forward and protecting their country.
Ghani offered his deepest condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for quick recovery of those wounded.
