Fight for Libyan oil continues
At least 10 rebels have been killed and 172 more wounded in the fight for the oil-rich city of Brega in Libya. The attack of the opposition has been checked by mortar fire of the pro-government forces controlling the city. Situated on the Gulf of Sirte on an open plane with most roads mined, Brega proves a difficult target. It has changes hands several times during the 5-month long Libyan crisis.
Meanwhile, Col Gaddafi has announced that his people are ready to die defending the countries oil reserves.
