Syria receives more refugees from Lebanon

Syrian refugees in neighboring Lebanon are increasingly showing willingness to return to their homes as the entire southern Syria has become under the government control.

Yesterday, more than 500 refugees entered Syria from refugee camps in Lebanon; heading to their towns and villages in the recently-liberated eastern and western Ghouta regions.

Both Syrian and Lebanese governments have recently agreed on facilitating the comeback of those willing to return to Syria.

More than 1 million Syrians have fled the country to Lebanon since the war broke out in 2011.
