Taliban Shadow Governor for Kapisa Killed in Airstrike
Taliban's shadow governor for Kapisa and ten other insurgents were killed in an Afghan air forces strike in the province, local officials said.
Mawlawi Hedayatullah, Taliban's shadow governor for north-eastern Kapisa province was killed in an Afghan air forces strike early Sunday, local officials confirmed.
In addition, 10 other insurgents were also killed and six were wounded.
Mohammad Razaq Yaqoubi, provincial police chief said that the "dead people were key members of the Taliban and were killed in an Afghan airstrike."
However, he did not provide more details about the airstrike.
