At least 22 people were killed and 132 wounded in three bomb attacks in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk on Saturday, a police source said.
Three suicide car bombers targeting headquarters of Kurdish forces blew themselves in northern and southern Kirkuk, leaving some buildings collapsed, a local police told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
The consecutive attacks killed at least 22 people and injured 132 others, including members of the Kurdish Peshmerga forces, Alsumaria news website quoted security officials as saying.
Iraq is witnessing some of its worst violence in recent years. According to the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq, a total of 8,868 Iraqis, including 7,818 civilians and civilian police personnel, were killed in 2013, the highest annual death toll in years.
