Ukraine edits sanctions list - source

Ukraine's Presidential Administration is editing the list of sanctioned Russian companies and individuals, a source from the governmental department told TASS on Friday.

"The list is being edited now," a source said, not specifying the names to be changed.

The presidential decree from September 2 approving Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council decision is missing on the president's official website, but it is available on the National Security and Defense Council website.

Ukraine's sanctions list was approved on September 16 by President Petro Poroshenko against those supporting Russia's stance and those involved in Donbas conflict. After the Western countries' reaction the list was edited, removing sanctions from several foreign reporters. It was also found out that some unexciting names were in the list.

In line with the document, the sanctions against these people include asset freezes, visa denials and other restrictive measures.
