High-ranking jihadist commander killed in southern Aleppo

The high-ranking commander of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, Mustafa Al-Bayyour, was reportedly killed by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the southern districts of Aleppo city on Monday.

Hailing from the village of Kafr Rouma in west Idlib, Bayyour was considered one of the top commanders/officials of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham in the provincial capital of Aleppo.

The Ahrar Al-Sham commander was reportedly killed during his unit's counter-offensive at the 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project in southern Aleppo - no further details were provided.

Bayyour joins a long list of jihadist commanders that have been killed by the Syrian Arab Army and their allies recently in southern Aleppo.
