Ukrainian attacks on Russian regions kill 652 -- top investigator
More than 650 people, including 23 children, have been killed in Ukrainian attacks on Russia's borderline and rearmost regions, with nearly 3,000 injured, Russian Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin told TASS in an interview.
"As a result of <...> criminal actions by the Ukrainian side, 652 civilians were killed, of whom 23 were children. A total of 2,980 people, including 169 children, suffered injuries. Criminal investigations are underway on all the aforementioned facts," he said.
Bastrykin stated that the Investigative Committee has launched a total of 2,690 criminal cases on the shelling of Russia's borderline and rearmost areas.
