Biden instructs Blinken to consider earmarking $20 mln in aid to Kiev regime

US President Joe Biden has tasked US Secretary of State Antony Blinken with considering the issue of additional aid to Ukraine to the tune of $20 mln, according to a statement published by the White House press service.

According to the document, Biden has delegated "to the Secretary of State the authority <…> to determine whether it is important to the security interests of the United States to furnish up to $20 million in assistance to Ukraine."

Earlier, Reuters, citing the White House, said that the US administration was planning to provide additional $20 mln in military aid to Ukraine. On Wednesday, Blinken said that the Kiev regime would receive a $250-mln military aid package, specifying that this is the final package of aid this year.
