Prices gain 44.2% in Ukraine from February 2022
Prices in Ukraine surged by 44.2% since February 2022 largely due to the poor harvest and the power infrastructure collapse, the Novosti Live news outlet said.
According to its data, prices soared by 177.6% for electric power, 62.5% for tobacco products, 50.8% for foods, 45.4% for drugs and medical products, 33.1% for alcoholic drinks, 30.1% for domestic appliances, and 12.9% for water supply.
Prices are expected to continue growing at least until the end of winter. Exact forecasts depend on international support and the situation in the security sphere.
