Russian armed forces attack military airfield in Ivano-Frankovsk region, target reached

Russian armed forces attacked a military airfield in the Ivano-Frankovsk region on Friday, with the target reached and the facilities hit, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported.

"On August 11, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation conducted a precision-strike multiple attack with heavy air-based weapon on a military airfield in the area of the settlement of Kolomyia of the Ivano-Frankovsk region. The target of the attack was reached. All targeted facilities were hit," he said.

Konashenkov said on July 27 that the Russian forces had delivered strikes on Ukrainian military airfields and Western-supplied armament storage sites, destroying all designated targets.
